The Announcements Update
We brought all the announcement tools together into one simple place and added a few new things to make posting easier.
One Place for Everything
Before, announcement features were spread across different commands. Now there's a single /announcements command with three tabs:
- Announcements — let the bot share important updates in the right channels automatically
- Events — post a message when your Discord events are about to start
- Calendar — schedule any message to go out on a date and time you pick
Everything lives in one hub, so it's easier to find and set up.
What's New
Schedule Posts Ahead of Time
You can now write a message today and have the bot post it later — on any date, time, and timezone you choose. Great for things like reminders, weekly updates, or a New Year message you want ready in advance.
Event Announcements
Pick one of your Discord events, choose when you want the announcement to go out (at start, or a few minutes/hours/days before), and design how it looks. The bot handles the rest and even adds a little hype message on top.
A Simple Embed Builder
When you create a post, you now get an easy editor to design how the message looks — title, description, color, images, and more. You can see a live preview as you build it.
If you already have a message design from another tool, you can paste it in and the builder will load it for you to tweak.
Behind the Scenes
We also cleaned things up so the dashboard and the bot stay perfectly in sync, and tidied up the help and setup guides so new servers know exactly where to start — including how to set up moderation using Discord's own AutoMod.
